This weekend, Wallsend RFC will be looking to build on their newfound momentum as they face Newton Aycliffe RUFC in Matchday 4 of the Counties 3 Durham & Northumberland 2024/25 season. After a tough start to the campaign, Wallsend currently sit 6th in the table, but their spirits are high following a crucial first win of the season against Winlaton Vulcans. The 24-22 victory was a much-needed boost for the team, giving them confidence ahead of this weekend's clash.

It sees the return of Jack Burke & Tom McDaniel, who are set to don the green and gold of Wallsend for the first time this season. Martin Coyle comes back into the fold after a weekend off, with Chris Metcalfe sliding in to the all familiar position of full back in the mercurial Harry Smith's absence.

All in all, its set to be a good day of rugby and hopefully an opportunity for the Wallsend boys to start climbing the table.
